From Billy:

I retired from a 40-year career managing trucking operations and started searching for something meaningful to do next. That search led me to build Dig Dig.

I surrounded myself with family and started creating an experience we couldn’t find anywhere else.

Early on, that meant building the SandMaster, the Hopper, and even the shovels used every day in our sandbox. Each one came from watching how kids play and figuring out how to make the experience more engaging, durable, and fun.

That thinking carried into Dino Zone, where we developed custom kinetic sand tables and the molds we call Shapers. These experiences are designed to help kids use their hands, imagination, and problem-solving skills while they build, shape, and create.

What looks like simple play is actually doing a lot — building confidence, strengthening motor skills, encouraging creativity, and giving kids a sense of pride in what they make.

Four adults, four kids, and enough travel activity to make me wonder… continue reading

Building the SandMaster 440 Sandbox Toy

Then, the sand drops into the hopper and pours back down.  Repeat until an adult announces that it is time to leave.  From the other side of the machine, however, it has been a slightly longer journey.  The SandMaster 440… continue reading

The Best Time for a Birthday Party Might Be Morning

When parents think about the best time for a birthday party, a 9 a.m. morning kids birthday party probably does not jump to the top of the list. We understand. At first, a Saturday morning birthday party sounds early. Parents are still finding shoes. Kids are already asking for snacks. Someone is probably looking for… continue reading
